this was sooooo helpful! thank you! now I can live stream off my laptop rather than my iPad and see chat. when I live streamed off my iPad I couldn't see chat and I thought I was talking to myself for 10 minutes, turns out 20 people were watching and commenting at that time lol 😅. Not gonna have that issue again lol
Thanks for trying but your instructions were not applicable to what is in my System/Preferences. The Mic and Camera were not there at all.

It would be really helpful to show the viewers what you're doing, so a camera strapped to your chest, or behind you, would give the people watching a clear picture of the process you're describing.
It would be easier for you, and your viewers, if you first went through whatever process you're demonstrating, that would avoid stops where you're not sure what you're doing.

Nope. Everything is setup as you advised but when trying to do a FB Live, I get "The browser version you're using doesn't support the camera feature in Live Producer." and I have the most updated version of Chrome!!!! Aghhhhhhh.
Very helpful. I thought it was just me. My camera was working fine one minute, and then the next time I tried to use it, I could not use it at all.
My mac doesn't have camera and mic settings under that tab. 🙁
I think that is a problema with the new interface of Facebook Live, I tried using the "old interface" and it works.

I can't go on Facebook Live with the HP Chromebook. I have a camera extension but is still don't work.

Did everything you advised. Using Windows 10, chrome. The settings for the camera to ALLOW are just not translating to Facebook. I have shut everything else down. I have refreshed the browser half dozen time. I have closed and reopened the browser. Did the Big Chrome setting, the Privacy et al settings, the Facebook setting. Big Sigh…sad.. See's the Mic, Does not see the camera. They are separate items

I do LIVE STREAMING to YouTube all the time via streaming software, yet I COULD NOT fix my camera "error" in Facebook … I would NEVER have thought to check the "lock" THANK YOU, helped a lot.
