For YouTube should I be able to start a live stream solely from the camera please? I assume so but this is only working at the moment when I kick off the live stream on my Mac which somehow then picks up the HC550 stream.
Second one please – where do I find the camera device code to add into Facebook Live? It is an eight character alphanumeric code but despite bourse looking through the menu/manual I cannot locate it

Very interesting clip. Thanks. RELATED QUESTION PLEASE * I'm trying to use my GY-LS300 to stream to Facebook Live. I have connected to YouTube without any problem. Livestreams fine to my channel. But when follow process with Fb using the stream key provided by Fb Live settings section the connection fails immediately. I think the problem is the Stream Key provided by Fb is too long to be copied fully into the JVC web portal Livestream server field. It's missing the final characters as far as I can see and I can't type in the whole key even when attempt manually. Very frustrating as I think everything from my end OK otherwise. Camera has latest firmware and as I say works fine with YT. Most tutorials online walkthru using Ustream as the intermediate stage but I'm not interested in paying for this – I just want to stream direct from the camera to Facebook. Many thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

this is Very Helpful i bought the HM250 in December last year and updated with the facebook update now that i have seen how to do the youtube streaming i will have to give this a try in the near future. I have one question though i have tried a few times to connect my phone iPhone 7 using my data but for some reason i can never get the connection to work i am guessing the problem might be the speed of the data i have on my phone?
I bought the JVC-HC 550 for 2 months ago and I have a couple of problems. please share this further JVC. The autofocus is not working properly, it shakes all the time and the optical zoom has pixel problems.maybe jvc could search for these problems update..Thanks a lot
