Hello! Thank you for this tutorial! I am a little confused about the broadcasting configuration settings since I use Virtual Dj 7 Pro and it has pretty limited options. For example to go live it needs a specification in the format (OGG or MPEG) and then it also requires a server number, a port number as well as a password, so there is essentially no place for a Url there etc. Can this version of Virtual Dj still be used somehow to live broadcast through mixcloud pro? Thank you for your time in advance! 🙂 (I should perhaps also mention I only want to stream audio. A radio show with music and interviews etc)

I need some advice for live streaming. I’m an amateur DJ with limited equipment as of the moment.
A. Audio Technica T120 with RCA and USB for vinyl.
B. Virtual DJ on my MacBook
Is it possible to run both of these through the Mixcloud streaming app? What would be the connection stream?
Do I need a mixer? Behringer Xenyx 502 Premium 5-Input 2-Bus Mixer with XENYX Mic Preamp and British EQ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000J5UEGQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_v1cZEbG78P7RN or the iRig Stream?

I did a test run with this and on the mixcloud side, I didn't see my stream, when I went on a mobile device to my mixcloud page as a listener, it gave me a streaming error code, which I can't find on troubleshooting in mixcloud, have any thoughts?

They will take over the dj streaming market. I have been telling friends to use mixcloud instead because at other sites they mute or remove the music.. and here if they give you the librerty to stream audio and video maannn this is an awesome news!!
