  1. Very informative video.. when doing live streaming when traveling. Lets say i go over to los angeles and i want to film stream live on youtube… Would that be better off a mobile phone or better on a better Sony camera? Now i do like wide screens viewing. 4k is important for me. I do have a gopro 4 but an oldie small camera only to film. But i i do want professional quality not only live streaming but film things… and not a poor graded filming around that turns the sky from blue to far too much white balance and audio is important… So i need a nice camera.. Not sure if the only best thing is use my sony galaxy note 10+ phone.. Only problem is that the phone is design for receive and make calls while im overseas in case something happens to me. Otherwise i might run out of battery with the phone been turn on so long. So a Sony smaller professional camera would be good? this video shows far too many cables all over the places…. does a live stream require all cables all over the places? Im a bit confused as i have never done live stream. but i want to know what i would need when im travelling outdoors and want to live stream on youtube. But not only that but also film and record things to keep and watch it later… Obviously live stream will never become good quality 4k regardless what camera your using..But so long it has the lot. Now i think Sony a7iii is too big and slightly too expensive… anything smaller in the Sony latest cameras maybe a mirror-less camera ? Important for me that records good high quaity videos and sound… Dont wan to buy something cheap and low graded camera… But so long it's not expensive same time. I do like wide screens and the ability to less wide screen… i also want a camera that i can hook it up on a grip handheld device to keep everthing (stabilized) you know a selfie stick where it lets you zoom… move camera left and right like a remote control as you hold the stick on your hand with the camera connected to that selfie stick. and thats what a call a cool live stream person out there. thanks

  2. is IRL streaming devices live LiveU solo different than an encoder? I need to livestream from my DSLR to do auctions and I would prefer that the encoder could be used with a in-house wifi system but I also need to stream over mobile LTE network. Also is IRL the only way to livestream high quality content from an LTE hotspot?

  3. New here. Holy crap just the monthly mobile carrier bill alone would put me out, nonetheless investing in all of that gear lol! Five years from now 5G will make a lot of this look primitive. Anyways your setup looks badass. Keep on streaming!

  4. I love the 1" sensor on the Sony RX100, but not the price, so I bought a used RX0, mostly for down facing overhead shots. WiFi and battery charging both contribute to overheating. I don't use them and the camera stays on for days without overheating, even without setting high temp use.

  5. Been trying for over a week to connect either my GoPro 6 or Canon M6 to my iMac OS Catalina for a live stream, without a capture card. I'm attaching my micro HDMI to HMDI cable to an adapter HDMI to USB-A, I have another adapter HDMI to USB-C, both do not seem to work. My Mac doesn't recognize the inputs. I need help. Thx

  6. Really great video!Thank you! I do need to learn more and more (lol) and have more money (lol). And it is very good to have you back David. What camera was being used for this recording that the other guy was using?

  7. David, can cell phones be substituted in place of the modems? And are you increasing the network speed by combining the modems? I need to research your setup for use in the Congo. The speed of the internet unbelievably slow.

  8. I am live streaming me running a 50k on the treadmill Sunday and have more anxiety about the streaming part than the running. I have been testing a playing with Streamlabs OBS and the new YT Studio streaming…this video make be feel bad about how low tech I am with streaming. All my money is in cameras for running videos..lol. Great info here for me to dream about.
