reaper restream does this. all you have to do is set host ip to ipv4 and plugin the ip address for both users.. oh, and its free. realtime and lossless
Bro, you sound like you can sing "Year Of The Cat" by Al Stewart Spot ON! Thanks for the info
omg and you have to pay for that ? or you route your soundcard to skype/goole meet/messenger/ inputs for free 😐
Will this work for Zoom meetings?
Hey, i really really love this program, does anyone know how if i can share the link with 100s of users who id like to hear my audio?
Great solution ! Now that we have the Covid – 19 situation
The idea is interesting, but still buggy: app on android doesnt receive anything. Also forget to have any sort of realtime feed: latency is high, even with the lowest 0.1 on setting. This makes impossible to interact instantly with the receiver: for example, play live music via this plugin is out of question
Don't know if anyone still monitors this thread since it's 3 years old, but I'm just now learning about ListenTo. Would it be possible to use this for remote band rehearsal, with all members simultaneously sending and receiving audio? I mean, as something like JamKazam, which even my computer geek son can't get to work at all.
One important question for you Prooduction Expert – Does client have to have a DAW to use listen to receiver or this app might work standalone ?
Dropbox is a much easier option.thanks for posting anyway.
Thanks but no thanks. This ain't going to fly. I'll pass on this.
wait, so what's stopping someone from just getting the receiver app, and recording the output from that? Seems like a fun little plugin, but if you're really concerned about someone stealing the mix you're demoing to them, there's still little you can do except put a watermark on it, right?
thanks for this review. this is great, will definitely try!
Thanks. This was covered by Adam from Real Home Recording a while back, stating that this could be the plugin of the year.
Brilliant. Thanks Dan.
