Hi guys, these two Camcorders work fine with Webcaster x2, The Panasonic HC-MDH2 and the latest one off Panasonic HC-MDH3E both using Progressive streams, the Webcaster powered up with the Anker Powercore 20100 , then using my mobile phone's 4G hotspot, Works a treat sending live streams to Facebook etc, brilliant bit of kit for streaming outdoors away from power etc.

I use the X2 with an ATEM video switcher.
I think the X2 is the cheapest good way of getting to YouTube and Facebook. About the same price as a "dumb" HDMI to USB3 capture device, and cheaper than the Vidiu

Working off of a BIG Chargetech 23200 mAh portable power bank and my hotspot internet connection, I broadcast sound events and thought 2 cameras would be very cool . . . I found a problem trying to run a USB camera with the Webcaster on a battery. When using a USB outlet from the Chargetech to Webcaster X2, there isn't enough power to power the USB camera (the webcaster won't see it. I was using a custom cable that Epiphan support told me to order).
When I connected via the supplied wall transformer from the Chargetech, it works fine. I knew USB power was fussy, but this proved it. Problem solved.
