  7. I disagree, I bought an Apple product and have the one year free access to Apple TV+ but because the content doesn’t have a lot of variety at the moment I am not really watching it.

  13. So people that do not own an Apple product and are not part of Tim's ecosystem are out of luck if they want to watch "The Morning Show".. not good. That's a lot of credit cards that will not be charged. Plus its not a free service. I signed up for he one week trial by fishing out an old iPad I had laying around and creating an Apple ID then subscribing.. that whole process took half an hour of verification and re-verification (that failed with "bad phone number" for no reason many times until I restarted my iPad) .. to both create my Apple ID and then enter all my info to subscribe to this one service (Apple TV+) then I logged into it and found that practically every movie and many TV Shows must now be purchased/rented if I want to view it.

    So…. if I keep this service that means I just paid for a rentals store. I am watching "The Morning Show" on this app though Fire TV prior to my free trial ending then un-subscribing… this is a horrific platform for ANY user I would argue inside or certainly outside the Apple universe.

  17. But… none of these subs are hard to get out of. Why is the rhetoric that these things are sticky? And if they are, why the hell do people stick to them?! Or get simultaneous subs?! We only have one set of eyeballs and so much time for media consumption. If we cycle a month or two at a time of each sub we get everything. 'loyalty' to multinationals that would grind us into soylent if they could is silly. :p

  18. Dang! I was hoping Apple + was going to have what I consider good movies…Not! I like family friendly movies and sitcoms NOT cussing, innuendos of crass wording, or people taking off their closes for a story line. Apple there's a whole slew of people you're leaving out of you "package". Wholesome movies with honest values based movies and sitcoms please!

  20. Everything I saw on Apple plus I have to pay an additional fee, couldn’t find anything to watch that was included. Sadly it’s free for a year I want to cancel that free subscription now.

  24. Apple TV is worthless. I got a year free cause I got a new phone. Yay! Everything is subs from other networks. I mean yeah it's cool to have an app if you have subs for all the major networks but at the end of the day it's an overrated smarttv app.

  34. just bought an apple product and received the 1 yr free AppleTV Plus subscription… but there is hardly anything on it… & the few shows that we actually liked and clicked on to watch WERE NOT free. so in my opinion, there is nothing free at all about the 1 year free AppleTV Plus. LOL

  37. Apple comes late to the dance and offers just about nothing. Yes, I get it free for a year, but the likelihood that I will routinely go to the app in order to access things I already get other places is about 0%. Seems like Apple would have waited until they had something unique to offer. I have no reason to navigate through their software.

  39. I normally love Apple products, but Apple+ has almost NO CONTENT. Eight shows is not enough to call yourself a "streaming service." I'm sorry I bought it. Everything I click on costs more money or takes me to a different service. Thinking of switching to Disney+ where at least there's something to watch.

  40. Apple has no content… they are data mining your other streaming services into their device to track behavior. They have 8 shows, no movies and other content featured on their home page requires a subscription to that other service or app. Giving it to millions of existing users is just a way to say they have over xxx signups. They should have loaded 20 movies along with the "ok boomer" TV shows and maybe people would want to check in more often. All they are proving is they are slow to rise in this space and is an example of how they run their business
